Jeff Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease
In March of 2016 at the age of 51, Jeff was diagnosed with Younger Onset / Early-Stage Alzheimer’s Disease. You can read his full story here. Since his diagnosis, I have been working with great fervor with the National Alzheimer’s Association as a member of the National Early-Stage Advisory Group and an Early-Stage Ambassador with the Delaware Valley & Greater NJ Early-Stage Advisory Councils and an Alzheimer’s Congressional Team member. The Alzheimer’s Association has a vision of “A world without Alzheimer’s®” and a mission to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
By showing the many faces of Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias including the challenges, joy, compassion, and love, Doggies for Dementia raises awareness and reduces stigma and fear.
LESS FEAR = MORE LOVE AND COMPASSION
This is how Doggies for Dementia changes the World One Image at a Time!
Doggies for Dementia gifts those impacted by Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias an incredible experience and photos to keep the memories alive. We raise Alzheimer’s Awareness and reduce the very real pain of loneliness and isolation.
