Experts Dig in with Doggies for Dementia with Special Guest Ruth McCabe Caring for Those with Dementia in the Kingdom of Fife
Doggies for Dementia Travels to the United Kingdom!
Okay, we travel to the UK virtually, but in only our minds for now…
Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementia impacts people around the globe. Perhaps this is one reason I enjoy chatting and sharing interviews with people from all around the world. It is so interesting to hear about the care and and support afforded to those beyond the United States. Today we chat with our friend Ruth McCabe, Dementia Friendly Fife Project Manager and works for the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership in Scotland, UK.
There is so much to this interview! I first met Ruth when we were both guests on a podcast with BTN Podcast. We hit it off and I knew you would want to hear more from her! Ruth McCabe represents a group of Dementia sufferers who all meet up regularly as a group to have conversations about the disease and help new sufferers. She has a lot to say about sign and symptoms of dementia, how to ease the challenges, ways to predict problems and avoid danger and what they’re doing in Kingdom of Fife. Many of our subscribers live in the United States, and I believe you’ll enjoy hearing the amazing things Ruth and her team are doing for the dementia community. Check out the video! I look forward to making a trip across the pond to visit and photograph. Doggies for Dementia Foundation is just getting started, and certainly traveling to other areas, teaching others to photograph and raise awareness as part of our foundation is all in the plans!
