Thoughts of Gratitude at Doggies for Dementia
We want to thank you BIG as we round out what is known as the Giving Season for nonprofit businesses. We’ve had Giving Tuesday which continues through this week. We’ve received some generous donations and you can still donate directly on this website or our Facebook Page.
Exactly How Your Donations are Used
- Your donations allow us to provide beautiful experiences and photo/video sessions for families impacted by dementia. They are gifted the full session with a professional photographer, the special reveal session and matted prints. This is $1200.
It is also our mission to raise awareness. This important topic will be addressed fully this month, however by raising awareness (teaching about dementia) we show the world the many people impacted by the disease. We share their stories-the joy and the challenges in hopes of reducing stigma.
- Weekly blogs
- Daily Social Media posts on Instagram (lives, stories, posts and reels), Facebook (lives, stories and posts), LinkedIn and Twitter. Our posts are filled with valuable information, tips and guidance, and family stories. Managing social media and other marketing is a full time endeavor.
- We have a YouTube channel with family videos and our program, Experts Dig in with Doggies for Dementia. This involves preparing for and recording of the video podcast, video editing, placement on YouTube, writing and sharing.
- That’s a lot of what we do, however there is more.
