Today’s Doggies for Dementia blog is about hospice. It’s a topic many of us wish to avoid, because talk of death is scary. There is so much unknown, and of course fear stems from not knowing what is going to happen.
Hospice care has evolved considerably over the last decades. The myths and negativities have been largely debunked, but there are things we all need to know. We enjoyed our candid conversation with guest Yoli Campos Smith, an experienced hospice nurse. We are so grateful for Yoli’s expertise!
Hospice provides support for those nearing the end of life and their families. Death, a much avoided topic, is an important part of life.
