What the Heck is Going on with Joe?
Part of our mission to provide education for those impacted by cognitive issues. In addition to video programs with experts to answer a variety of questions for caregivers, we also raise awareness to help reduce the profound and painful stigma associated with dementia. This week we talk about Joe and Mary as Joe shows some signs of cognitive decline.

What Can We Do to Keep it From Getting Worse
One of my favorite guests on Experts Dig in with Doggies for Dementia (our YouTube video blog) is psychologist Ron Nevelow probably because of the many bloopers. He is the only guest who inspired me to create a bloopers reel! Ron Nevelow is co-founder of Inspire Senior Care, a mental health clinic. He specializes in care of those in long term care. He has a lot to teach all of us! Some of his clients are diagnosed with cognitive decline and dementia, while others want to avoid this. We all want to be at our best however what if what you know about maintaining and improving brain health is wrong?
The consequences of not taking care of all of your body including your brain are dire. Did you know there are ways to slow down cognitive decline (dementia) and perhaps even prevent it? EARLY INTERVENTION is key for all of us. Dementia is a HUGE health crisis and even worse with the current isolation and loneliness many of us experience. In this recording, we talk about Brain Health and how we can exercise our brain. Ron makes it easy and yet challenges us to reach beyond what is most comfortable, and to start today!
Brain Health!
